It’s Caturday – A Weekend Filled With Cat Toys, Dogs, Chores, and More!
Well, here it is, another weekend upon us! Time to put up my feet and just relax after a hard week of work. Well, that is, after the yard work, laundry, vacuuming, grocery shopping, cleaning, running errands, getting caught up on emails, blog posts, and bookkeeping. What? It’s Sunday evening already… but wait, I didn’t have any fun yet! Oh well, at least I know the cats will be having a good weekend. What kind of plans do they have? Napping, eating, and, of course, playing with toys. I already shared some napping pictures earlier this week, so today I thought I’d concentrate on the toys…
Peanut takes her toys very seriously… be forewarned people… be forewarned…
Jazmine can’t get enough toys and appears to have collected every single one we have in the house!
Unlike Jazmine, Kizmet does not need all the toys, but the one toy he wants is his and his alone…
Zee proves that even as a mature cat, he can still have fun with the toys like the best of them!
Mia prefers to nap on the toys rather than play with them. The toys are covered in so much cat hair that she blends right in!
As usual, Rolz proves that even playing with toys can be done with subtle dignity… Yawn, exercise can be such hard work…
Yeah… If I were a cat Zoey, I would be saying the same thing…
So how about you all? Any plans this weekend? Despite all the chores I have to do, there is a bit of fun planned too. Some of my family will be coming over on Saturday to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. This means that our grand-dog, Rick, will be in the house! I guess the cats will have a different kind of toy to play with now!

Hey Zooey…I am a cat and I tell M that same thing when she. Tries to play with me. It usually works too.
Isn’t it funny how a mature cat can become just like a kitten again when he has his favorite toy? 🙂 We hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

All those toys look awesome, gang! Us kitties are watching some bird TV, taking some naps, and getting some love and brushing. Mom and Dad are going to something called a “U2 Concert” tonight. They are very excited … we wonder of there will be any chicken and catnip there?
