Kizmet’s First Outdoor Adventure

There are certain first moments in life that are so precious to behold that they beg to be bottled in time. One such moment is the utter awe and amazement that radiates from that pure and innocent child who believes in Santa Claus and wakes up to find a spectacular array of presents under the tree that surely came from the North Pole, magically made by Elves. The mind’s eye of how that that child perceives the moment is a gift to witness and a memory that stays in your heart forevermore etched in time. For Kizmet, that moment occurred a few days ago when we brought him outside for the first time. Merry Christmas From All of Us at Zee and Zoey’s!

From the whole Zee/Zoey Gang – we are sending extra special purrs your way today and hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

As the Holidays Approach… Creatures are Stirring… Lots of Them!

In our house, the stockings are not hung with care and the feline creatures are stirring with both terror and curiosity as the “kids” embark upon our usually organized and peaceful household. And guess what… that’s the best gift in the world – I love every bit of the upheaval and can’t wait to spend some time with the family. I miss them all so much throughout the year and when they come for the holidays, we gather round to do what everyone else in the country does –  we laugh, we joke, we eat, we drink, we play board games, we watch movies that we have seen a hundred times over, and we rejoice that we have one another in our lives.  Read more

Sleepypod Mobile Pet Carrier Winner Announced!

Unfortunately I have yet to perfect the act of picking all the winning numbers (let alone even one or two numbers on one single ticket), so the best I can do is give away the one generously offered by the wonderful people at Sleepypod!! A Moment of Silence and Prayers for the Newtown Community

I was supposed to announce the winner of our Sleepypod giveaway today, but you will have to forgive me, as I just can’t find the mental capability at the moment to deal with the everyday moments of life. Like the rest of the world, I find myself in profound pain as I struggle with the incomprehensible events of the Newtown Massacre. Read more
